The Opportunity

Human Geography at Monash University has produced some of Australia’s leading researchers and policy makers in climate and environmental change, land and water management, urban and regional economic development, and political ecology and international development, and is currently looking for a Lecturer to contribute to Masters level teaching within the program.

This 12-month fixed-term contract will be responsible for the teaching and unit coordination APG5434Sustainability Measurement in S2 and APG5122Corporate Sustainability in S2 (2021); Summer (21/22); S1 (2022); and provide support into APG5433Corporate Sustainability Management.  In addition, the successful applicant will also be expected to engage in professional activities within the school.

The successful applicant will have a PhD in any of the following Sustainability, Business Studies, Economic Geography or a closely aligned discipline, as well as demonstrated experience with teaching large postgraduate coursework units, and curriculum and subject material development.

This role is a full-time position; however, flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
