The Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences, is the largest faculty at Monash University and offers the most comprehensive suite of professional health training in Victoria. The School of Clinical Science at Monash Health (SCS) is Monash’s largest deliverer of clinical teaching in the undergraduate medical student curriculum, providing 50% of total clinical placements across multiple disciplines and sites.
An opportunity has become available for a Senior Lecturer to join the Department of Nutrition, Dietetics and Food. In this role, you will be reporting to the Head of Department and will provide a range of high-quality research and/or professional activities, to the teaching effort of the department within the University.
This can include:
- Coordinate research for publication in international peer-reviewed journals
- Leading and supervising various programs and projects for PhD students
- Proactively planning and conducting tutorials, workshops, clinical sessions, lectures and seminars
- Effective initiation and development of course material whereby course/unit coordination is enhanced
- Conducting broad administrative functions including marking and assessments

The successful applicant will have a PhD in nutrition or a related field with subsequent extensively recognised experience and specialist expertise.
