MacEwan’s School of Continuing Education, International is looking for highly qualified individuals to work in our Full-Stack Web Development Executive Professional Development Program for International Students. This program is offered full-time during the day, with some courses being offered in the evenings and weekends. Classes will be offered either in-person or online, depending on current Alberta Health Services restrictions and recommendations. Currently, we are specifically looking for instructors to teach during the daytime for the Fall 2021, Winter 2022, and Spring/Summer 2022 terms.

Certificate description:
This certificate will help students learn the skills they need for a successful career as a full stack web developer. Students in this program will gain skills in both backend and frontend development as well as deploying applications to the web servers. Students also have the opportunity to work on a Capstone Project for a local organization and gain relevant experience in the Canadian industry. Students will work together in groups on a project from start to finish with the support of our instructors.


• Experience or familiarity in one or more of the following areas:
Web Development
Azure DevOps
Entity Framework Core
RESTful Web Services using .NET Core
Mongo DB
• A passion for teaching
• 5 years minimum relevant professional industry experience
• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree (a combination of education and experience may be considered).
• Previous experience teaching adults and/or international adult learners would be considered an asset.
