Position Overview
The Postdoc Research Fellow will conduct independent and collaborative research with and under the supervision of the postdoctoral mentor. 

Essential Duties
- Conduct independent and collaborative research with the mentor. 
- Develop mathematical or empirical methods for applications. 
- Search pertinent scientific literature as needed. 
- Design and perform numerical experiments.
- Perform other duties as assigned. 
- University employees' job responsibilities will continue to expand in scope and depth as the University grows in size and complexity in its programs.  
Required Qualifications
- Recent PhD in data science related discipline, e.g. applied math, statistics, computer science, electrical engineering, or other closely related discipline. 
- Anticipated research topics: mathematical data science, applied harmonic analysis, geometric deep learning.  
- Review of applications will start on Jan 1, 2021, and will continue until the position is filled.
