The Business School at Edinburgh Napier University is looking to employ two full time tutors (on campus), up to 24 months, opportunities have arisen to support The Business School’s initiatives supporting employability. As a tutor you will support the academic community in providing guidance and support to the on-campus UG students.

This role involves supporting Module Leaders in the delivery of tutorials on a range of modules, marking oral, written and reflective assessments, including Employability Skills Programme/Professional Practice/WBL/Live Project (SCQF Levels 7 - 9). The focus of the role will be to help prepare students for the work-based experience and assessments. In addition, you will also support the UG students, individually/group level on the above modules, connecting them to wider support services offered across the university as needed.
As a tutor not only will you liaise with employers to support the development of student learning agreements in collaboration with their workplace mentors and also liaise with students.
One of your objectives will be to assist Graduate Apprenticeship students in matching their work-based assessments to their short, medium and long-term goals and support the Graduate Apprenticeships Programme Leader in building effective relationships between the School, employers and the students.

You must have:
- A Master's degree or professional qualification in a relevant business discipline
- Experience of supporting undergraduate students in a face-to-face learning environment
- Ability to communicate accurately with a high standard of written and oral English
- Respond and guide the students sensitively with different needs and backgrounds
