The University of Illinois College of Medicine at Rockford is seeking an innovative educator for a 12 month, full-time faculty position. The selected individual will be responsible for teaching and directing the Doctoring and Clinical Skills course, a fundamental course on history taking, physical examination, clinical reasoning, and professionalism, which extends throughout the first 2 years of medical school. Administrative responsibilities include oversight of scheduling, finding faculty to deliver sessions within the course, training standardized patients, coordination of material with other curricular courses, generation of appropriate assessments, and cross campus collaborations. The successful candidate must be interested in curriculum development and in working collaboratively across the University of Illinois College of Medicine campuses which include Rockford, Chicago, and Peoria.
