Job Description:

To direct purchasing, receiving, mail, property control and copy machine services of the College. Additionally, direct Auxiliary Services to include Reprographics (copy center), Food Services (Bistro, coffee carts and vending machines), and Bookstore (as handled by Barnes & Noble).

Establish and monitor operating budgets, develop and implement unit goals that support the mission and strategic initiatives of the College, establish policies and procedures which support efficient operations, establish service standards, and evaluate efforts to meet them.

15%

Supervise, train and evaluate staff for each of the areas supervised. This includes recommending professional development opportunities, and attending workshops to improve individual skills.

20%

Monitor purchasing activities of the College to ensure that goods and services are acquired timely, and that procurement complies with College policies and procedures, Colorado Procurement Rules, and the State of Colorado Fiscal Rules.

35%

Ensure quality goods and services are acquired at the most economical price.  Direct the purchasing operations of the College, which includes procurement and receiving.  Manage tracking of Fixed Assets, including disposal. Manage documented quotes and RFPs from start to finish.

20%

Direct Auxiliary Services to include Reprographics, Bookstore, and Food Services (Bistro, coffee carts, and vending machines).  Give guidance, signature authority, resolve issues, and monitor activities including repair calls on vending machines.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's  degree in Business plus five (5) years progressive experience, or equivalent

combination of education and/or experience.

Minimum Payment Amount:

$72,712.00

The hiring range for full-time positions is based on qualifications, experience and internal equity and one can earn up to 5% above the minimum salary stated in the job posting. Employees in these positions may be asked to participate in temporary assignments lasting less than 6 months (such as curriculum development, short term projects, meetings and substitute duties) which could amount to additional temporary pay.
