COURSE DESCRIPTION: Learn the basic concepts of statistical programming in R. Examples used in learning are tailored to the needs of students, researchers, and professionals in wildlife- and ecology-related disciplines. MAIN TOPICS: -R Boot Camp (refresher) -Normal Populations -Permutation Tests -Simple Linear Regression -Multiple Linear Regression -ANOVA -Model Selection DATES: July 12-16, 2021 + two additional weeks to complete course material and work with an instructor on a personal project (optional) FORMAT: Learn at your own pace over three weeks by watching prerecorded lectures and working on problem sets. During the first week (July 12-16), live instructor support and feedback will be provided from 9:00-17:00 EDT each day in discussion forums, by email, or during scheduled appointments. During the next two weeks, students will have limited instructor support and feedback about course materials but will have the option to work with an instructor on a personal project.
