The Marketing & Communications Specialist (MCS) will plan, direct and coordinate communications and marketing aspects of the Student Health Service.

The MCS will develop, implement, and assess a comprehensive and integrated communications and marketing strategy, which includes raising awareness and interest in the multifaceted programs delivered by SHS to the campus community. The MCS will be responsible for researching communication channels and promotional opportunities to expand our reach and explore new ways to engage and identify target audiences.

The MCS will serve as an integral role to support all departments and highlight prevention opportunities within Student Health Services.


  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5-8 years of experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Highly organized with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities at the same time effectively
