JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Penn State DuBois Physical Therapist Assistant Program is seeking an Adjunct Lecturer to teach PT 150 - Physical Therapist Assistant Procedures I for the FALL 2021 Semester.


Job Duties

  • Teaching Physical Agent/Modality topics (Ultrasound, Thermotherapy, Cryotherapy, Traction, Massage, etc).
  • Student assessment and course management.
  • The faculty member will also be expected to contribute to the on-going development, promotion, application and assessment of the PTA curriculum, which includes the accreditation process.


Requirements and Qualifications

  • A Master’s Degree is required.
  • The applicant must be initially credentialed as a PT or PTA.
  • Experience in out-patient settings preferred.
