Lifting, pushing, or pulling of objects up to 50 lbs.; Sitting/standing for long periods of time; performing repetitive motion tasks; Risk of injuries from use of equipment on the job; Exposure to loud noises, hazardous chemicals and fumes including waste.
Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm
This position maintains and assists in the execution of research projects and provides services to faculty, staff and outside agencies/companies. Responsibilities include evaluating, selecting, purchasing, and maintaining equipment for all ECE (Electrical and Computer Engineering) teaching labs; working with individual faculty in evaluating, selecting, purchasing, and maintaining equipment and laboratory facilities for ECE faculty research labs; and providing mentor-ship and training to undergraduate and graduate students within the ECE department.
|Skills / Knowledge / Abilities||
Knowledge of the tools and equipment used in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering teaching and research labs. Ability to use these tools and to train and supervise others in their use.

Experience in managing facilities, equipment, and labs in an academic environment.
