Job Description

The Statistical Analyst B position will support large health policy-related research projects involving several large and complex data sets and several collaborating groups, conducted by investigators at the Leonard Davis Institute of Health Economics and the Department of General Internal Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine.  The Statistical Analyst position will use SAS and/or STATA programming skills to combine several databases and create analytical datasets from clinical trials, surveys, health care claims, and administrative databases to construct and standardize outcome measures and other analytical variables through data cleaning and data manipulation; perform analyses utilizing advanced statistical modelling and suggest the correct statistical analyses to be performed; provide descriptive and analytical reports, and  perform specialized statistical analyses; perform preliminary analyses for grant development and contribute to manuscripts and presentations.  Strong teamwork and collaboration skills are needed to support multiple projects led by individual investigators.  Serve as a resource to other team members, suggesting programming solutions and sharing data creation and cleaning skills.

Qualifications:

Master's Degree and 3-5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Position contingent upon funding.
