Statistical Data Analyst - Ob/Gyn - 50723

This position is full-time and works approximately 40 hours per week.  Position hours are generally Monday to Friday.

This position is in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology.  This position is for the Medical School Campus.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Performs data management and/or data analysis for investigators using statistical packages.  Assists investigators in the design of experiments, clinical trial and epidemiological studies.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Equivalent of a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (such as, math, statistics, computer science or epidemiology). 
• Experience and proficiency with data analysis and data management utilizing statistical packages utilized by departments.

• Master’s degree, preferably in statistics and/or epidemiology.
• SAS experience and proficiency with data analysis and/or data management.
• Experience in biomedical and/or clinical studies.
• Two or more years of experience in clinical research, database management, data processing and manipulation.
• Proficient ability to use SAS, R, etc.
• Knowledge of Redcap and Microsoft Access.
• Ability to exercise good judgment to maintain confidentiality and ensure integrity of data.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and be flexible to contribute to the needs of the group.
• Ability to be clear, direct, and tactful when communicating.
• Ability to prioritize work effectively to meet timelines.
• Demonstrate basic presentation skills at investigator or team meetings.
• Good judgment, professionalism and independence in interfacing with staff, project leaders, study coordinators, and investigators.

The hiring range for this position is $47,986 - $61,194 annually.
