Research Description

We welcome applications from outstanding researchers eager to study Chromatin, metabolism and cell fate at Research Group of Dr. Marcus Buschbeck for the Beatriu de Pinós Fellowships Call.

We specifically welcome applications in the following key areas:

  • Exploring and exploiting epigenetic vulnerabilities for developing novel targeting strategies in myeloid diseases.
  • Chromatin regulation in the lymphoma microenvironment (TBD with collaborator).

    What we need?

    Applicants must meet the Scheme’s eligibility requirements, outlined below:

    • Have obtained the doctoral degree between January 2013 and December 2018.
    • Have a minimum of two years of postdoctoral experience outside Spain.
    • Have not resided or worked in Spain for more than 12 months in the last three years.

    Please note, that a labour contract with IJC includes automatically your registration in the Spanish Social Security System, covering you in term of medical assistance. Consequently, you will pay social security contributions and Personal taxes, deducted directly from the gross salary.

    If you are ready to take the next step in your research career send your expression of interest and if the Scientific Supervisor accepts your candidature, you will jointly submit a Beatriu de Pinós Fellowship proposal to the open AGAUR call. Therefore, you must be available to work in the Beatriu de Pinós proposal considering that the call deadline is 11/03/2021.
